SHORT BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Sreenu Sreekumar received the B.Tech. degree in electrical and electronics engineering (EEE) from Government Engineering College, Idukki, Kerala (Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India), in 2012, and the M.Tech (Power Systems) and Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) degree from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, Jaipur, India, in 2015 and 2020 respectively. He is the recipient of the prestigious POSOCO Power System Award 2016 (National level) for the best M-tech level power system research. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at NIT Trichy. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the electrical engineering department at NIT Silchar, Assam. He has 42 international publications (16 Journal Papers, 25 conference papers, and one book). His research interests include power system flexibility enhancement, load forecasting, renewable generation forecasting, inertia Forecasting, imbalance Forecasting, Synthetic Inertia, mathematical modeling of motors for electric vehicles, and Net Zero targets.
