SHORT BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Dr B. Mallikarjuna completed his B. Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) in 2010 and M. Tech (Power & Industrial Drives/Electrical & Electronics Engineering) in 2014 from JNTUCE Pulivendula (State Govt. Technical Institute) and JNTU Anantapur (State Govt. Technical University), respectively. He received his PhD degree from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli, India, in 2019. Dr B Mallikarjuna has a total of 4+ (BMSCE Bengaluru, VIT Bhimavaram, JNTUACE Pulivendula, and BVCEC Odalarevu) and six years of teaching and research experience, respectively, till August 2022. In 2018, he was awarded an Outstanding Reviewer 2018 by the International Journal of Electric Power and Energy Systems (Elsevier). Subsequently, he was recognized for publishing research work in IEEE Journals for 2018/2019. Recently, he has been appointed as an expert reviewer for AEIC.

He received the Web of Science Academy certificate for completing a “Mentoring in Peer Review” course on 03.07.2021. He is passionate about researching emerging fields like wide-area monitoring, control, and protection, synchrophasor technology, smart grid, substation automation, digital relaying, soft computing applications in power systems, and microgrid protection. He is a Member of IEEE. He has published his research work in 14 journals (10 SCI/SCIE/Scopus + 3 ESCI/Scopus + 1 non-SCI), seven conference papers, and two book chapters in “Advances in Smart Grid Automation and Industry 4.0″ Select Proceedings of ICETSGAI4.0, LNEE Series, Springer Singapore. He rendered his services as a volunteer for the 20th National Power Systems Conference (NPSC) – 2018. He qualified for GATE in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017.
