SHORT BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Jyoti Prakash Mishra received his Bachelor’s Degree (Electrical Engineering) from IE, India in 1996; M.Tech. Degree (Energy Management) from SEES, DAVV, Indore, India in Jan’1999 and Ph.D. Degree from IIT Roorkee, India in 2010. After completing his M.Tech., he worked as a project officer (Energy) for one year at NITCON, Chandigarh, India (Mar. 1999 – May 2000); worked as Lecturer (Electrical) for two years at DIT, Dehradun, India (July 2000 – July 2002) and then joined as a research scholar in IIT Roorkee. He joined NIT Silchar, Assam, India in Jan. 2006 and is currently working as a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department. He is a member, of IEEE, and a Member, of IE (India).
