SHORT BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Binoy Krishna Roy (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from REC Silchar, and the M.Tech. degree with Control Systems specialization and the Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India, in 1989 and 1998, respectively. In 1961, he was born in Dibrugarh, Assam, India. During 1977 to 1979, he did Pre-university from Dibrugarh H.S. Konoi College, Dibrugarh, India. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Silchar, India. His research interests include fault detection and diagnosis of dynamical systems, nonlinear dynamics and chaos, linear and nonlinear control, and robotics, automation and control.
