Introduction [Biosketch]
- Dr. Megavath Diwakar Naik was born in Puttaparthi, India. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, on 29 December 2025 as an Assistant Professor. Prior to joining NIT Silchar, he served as a Project Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. Dr. Naik has notable industrial experience as a Firmware and Hardware Design Engineer at ProstarM, Pune, where he was involved in embedded system development and power electronics–based hardware design. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Electronics, from the Department of Electrical Engineering, NITK Surathkal, Mangalore, India. He completed his M.Tech degree in Power Electronics and Drives from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad.
